    Description

Vintage one-of-a-kind Disney!  It doesn't get any better!
    As shown on Antiques Roadshow.
This is a vintage printing plate Donald Duck issue 112 pg 20 from 1967 is a rare piece of comic history very seldom offered as very few remain in existence today. The story is entitled "The Custom Car Caper".  I have paired the original printing plate with the matching comic page actually printed from this very plate over 40 years ago to make one of the most unique collectibles that you will ever find!
A real collection centerpiece for any Disney, Uncle Scrooge, or Donald Duck fan or collector. It features classic Disney artwork by Disney artist Jack Bradbury and pictures Donald and Uncle Scrooge. Unlike many annimation cells that you find produced in quantity in the 1990's, this is a vintage one-of-a-kind piece of American comic history. I have framed and matted this "museum quality" piece. Only one printing plate was made for each comic page and normally these were melted down after the comic was printed. The press plate has the issue and page number engraved along the border. This is one of only very few to have survived the melting pot. This printing process is no longer used today so no more will ever be made.
Overall size is approx 14" x 18" framed.
Framing & matting is available at extra cost plus several weeks delay as these are ordered to your specifications.
If you are looking for that unique addition to your Uncle Scrooge,  Donald Duck, or Walt Disney collection, you have just found it. You will have a true one-of-a-kind collectible. Buyer adds .00 for insured shipping within US. Extra elsewhere.  Please contact me through "ask seller question" if you need any more information.
