    Description

    The open-handled cake plate is in excellent condition with no chips, hairline cracks, nor signs of restoration. It measures 10 1/2 inches in diameter and has the RARE DECORATION " Falstaff & Mrs. Ford " in the Shakespeare series. The identical transfer may be seen in the Mary Frank Gaston book: Collector's Encyclopedia of R.S. Prussia, Fourth Series on page 220, plate 622, but not the same border.
